World Farmers Day
On 15/12/2022 “World Farmers Day” was celebrated at Kodaikanal regional office. 61 persons participated in the function. Mrs. Sasikala gave the welcome address. The objective of the special day was explained by Mrs. Loretta, the District Coordinator. Aadhavan credit union leaders sang an awareness song. Special invitee, Mr.Patrick, Farmers Welfare Associationur explained about the benefits of organic farming and the method of making organic fertilizer. He explained the medicinal benefits of using earthen vessels. He talked about how to create healthy families, and shared about mushroom cultivation practice. Mr. Karthik from Athma Nala Sangam recommended a person in kurunji nagar among those who participated in the special day to set up a terrace garden in the form of horticulture. Mrs. Thavamani thanked everyone who participated in the function.
