On 14.03.2024 MMSSS Batlagundu Region celebrated the International Women’s Day along with the Blessing of the Renovated Regional Office at Arul Nagar with the participation of 200 SHG Members. The Renovated building was blessed and opened by Rev. Fr. Jerome Eronimus VG and Fr. A. Rajan the Assistant Secretary welcomed the Invitees and the gatherings. Rev. Fr. G. Gabriel took the privilege to introduce the Invitees and shared the experiences of the beneficiaries of the Tailoring Institute and the purpose of renovating the Regional Office and the Small Hall which could be utilized by the local people any family gathering and small functions with a small contributions. This will help to maintain the building and create income. Fr. Jerome Eronimus, VG and the Vice President of MMSSS, Ms. Ramalakshmi, Inspector of Police, Nilakottai and Ms. Vasanthi Feminine Activist elaborated the importance of Higher Education for the Girl Children, Domestic Violence / prevention of harassment to Women, Empowerment / Development and prevention of Female Infanticide. Ms. Arul Dhanamary Counselor of Primary Health Centre, Ammayanayakanur and Dr. Amutha, Clinical Department of Theni Medical College shared about the general information on Women’s Health. With the vote of thanks by Fr. A. Rajan the program came to an end.
