November Special Events. Elimination Of Violence Against Women – Kodaikanal – 19.11.2022
On 19.11.2022 at 10.00 am on behalf of Madurai Multipurpose Social Service Society, the Elimination of Violence against Women and Environment conservation Day was celebrated at Attuvambatti in Kodaikanal Region. The function started with a blessing by Fr. Durairaj, the Parish Priest of Lourdhupuram and a welcome speech by Mr.Eliyasraja, Kolping Coordinator. Cleanliness drive was jointly organized by Mother Theresa University. The cleanup work was started with the congratulatory speech of the secretary. At 12:30 PM, the meeting on the elimination of violence against women began with Tamil Anthem and a welcome speech by Mrs. Radhika, MTWU. Dr. Mrs. Sheela, the Registrar advised the girls to be courageous and develop good character. Fr. Gabriel, Secretary of MMSSS gave a speech about the activities done for promoting livelihood in the region of Kodaikanal. The function ended with vote of thanks given by Mrs. Loretta, the District Coordinator.
