International Anti- Corruption Day and Indian Girl Child Day
On 9/12/2012 at 11:15 a.m. International Anti-corruption day and Indian girl child day were celebrated at Aruppukottai regional office. The program began with an awareness song. Mrs.Gnanam welcomed everyone. Fr. Rajan spoke on anti-corruption and insisted that corruption starts at home, gave some good ideas to be honest in childhood. He said that we should create good citizens in the society and there are some good and honest officials in the corrupt society; we should create good citizens by telling such examples to the children. Mr.Murugan, an Advocate, introduced himself and thanked MMSSS for organizing the event and shared some thoughts on anti-corruption. He said that there will be no fear in doing honest work and we will all stand against corruption together to guide the next generation in an honest path. After that “The Indian Girl Child Day” was celebrated. Mrs.Porutselvi spoke about the Indian Girl Child Day. She said that the birth of a girl child is a blessing, child marriage is wrong and highlighted the related laws. Mr.Dinesh gave vote of thanks.
