MMSSS women’s federation in association with New Saravana Multispecialty Clinic along with the Apollo Hospital and The Eye Foundation jointly organized a Medical Camp on Sunday 23.06.2024 at RC Primary School Campus, Gnanaolivupuram at 10.00a.m. The Inauguration of the Medical camp was presided by Rev. Fr. Joseph the Parish Priest of St.Joseph’s Church and in the presence of Rev. Fr. G. Gabriel the Secretary & Treasurer of MMSSS. The Group members started the day with a prayer and Mrs. Josephine welcomed the gatherings and lighting of floor lamp by Rev. Fathers and the doctors. Rev. Fathers and the Group members welcomed and honored the team of doctors and the camp was started with the following specialties. General Medicine, Cardiology, Gynecology & Obstetrics, Ophthalmology, Dental Medicine and Physiotherapy.
Blood Pressure and Sugar checkup were done for all the participants and General Consultation was provided. Those who had a high level of pressure were recommended to take an ECG or ECHO test which was totally free cost of worth Rs.3000/- Followed by this test those who had any specific problem had consultation with the specialized doctors and physiotherapy treatment was offered those who were in need. Around 250 members were benefitted through this camp. The women’s federation and staff of MMSSS jointly contributed their time and energy for the successful completion of the camp in coordination with Dr. Vijay Saravanan and volunteered by Ms. Lydya and Gunaseeli. Fr. Rajan the Assistant Secretary of MMSSS coordinated the whole program. As a Special initiative Sri. Showdambika collage of Engineering, Aruppukottai. Organised a career Guidance program for the parents and students on choosing their higher studies.
