On 12.03.2024 MMSSS Theni Region celebrated the International Women’s Day at Catholic Auditorium, Chinnamanur in the presence of Rev. Fr. EdiDharmaraj. Around 254 SHG members participated in the program. Fr. Rajan, the Assistant Secretary welcomed the gathering and gave a brief description about the purpose of celebrating this Day and Mrs. Anuruba delivered a speech about the “Women are the Capital of Progress”. Followed by this Rev. Fr. G. Gabriel, the Secretary and Treasurer of MMSSS demonstrated that all Women should have Self-confidence, Liberated and should not dependent on others. Ms. Farida a Women Activist gave a speech on “Wake up Women” and the program came to an end with a vote of thanks by the Tailoring Instructor of Palayam.
